Job description:
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Indian, Tandoor, and North Indian Chaat station during service
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards, ensuring taste, presentation, and consistency
Handle all types of Indian breads, kebabs, tandoori preparations, and authentic chaat items
Ensure correct storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per FSSAI and kitchen standards
Train, guide, and supervise commis chefs and kitchen helpers
Monitor portion and waste control to maintain food cost efficiency
Collaborate with senior chefs for menu development, specials, and improvements
Ensure kitchen equipment, especially the Tandoor oven, is properly maintained and operated
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as CDP or equivalent in reputed Indian kitchens
Strong expertise in Tandoor operations, Indian breads, kebabs, and grilled preparations
Sound knowledge of North Indian Chaat, street-food style snacks, and traditional flavors
Culinary degree or equivalent practical kitchen experience
In-depth understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
Ability to lead a team, work under pressure, and maintain a positive work environment
Good communication and organizational skills

Pay: ₹27,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
