This team works closely with the clients to identify, assess, design, architect and mitigate potential security risks associated with cloud-based technologies, such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). Sr Associate - Cloud Security, Microsoft Azure and M365Core RequirementsWe\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an experienced Azure and M365 specialist with background in the following areas:

• Proven experience with two or more of the following areas:

• Threat Detection and Monitoring: Configure and deploy Defender for Cloud (MDC) for threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and security monitoring, utilizing advanced features such as Microsoft Sentinel for security incident response and automation.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Configure and manage identity and access controls using Entra ID, including user authentication, authorization policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and conditional access.
• Data Governance and Compliance: Implement data governance policies and compliance frameworks using Azure Policy, Azure Blueprint, and Azure Compliance Manager to enforce regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Data Protection and Encryption: Implement data protection measures, encryption, and key management solutions using Azure Key Vault, Azure Information Protection (AIP), and Azure Disk Encryption to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Microsoft 365 Configuration and Optimization: Configure and optimize Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams for collaboration, communication, and productivity, ensuring seamless integration with Azure services and adherence to security best practices.
• Cloud Architecture Design and Implementation: Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architecture solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, leveraging services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure SQL Database.
• Network Security: Design and configure secure network architectures on Azure, including Secure Landing Zone, Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, and Azure DDoS Protection, to protect against network-based threats and ensure data confidentiality and integrity.
• Incident Response and Forensics: Develop incident response procedures and perform forensic analysis of security incidents using Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center to identify root causes and mitigate future risks.

• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks relevant to cloud environments, such as NIST 800-53/CSF, CCM, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in cloud infrastructure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Extreme proficiency with technical and managerial documentation.

Bonus Skills

• Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate, Identity and Access Administrator, Security Operations Analyst, and Cybersecurity Architect Expert.
• Working knowledge of emerging Microsoft security technologies such as Security Copilot.
• Technology consulting background
