Main Job Purpose: This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Polaris Data COE Team as part of Data & Analytics, Data Centre of Excellence. This role is tasked to deliver the data foundations needed to deliver maximum value from data to drive business and organisational performance for Polaris - SKU Simplification products. Define, execute, and embed the data and analytics strategy, delivering the data platform foundations needed to fuel our analytical products and deliver the democratisation of our data across the whole organisation. Defining and embedding a strong enterprise data governance and data quality programme within the Data Lake to properly govern our internal, 2nd and 3rd party data assets and to ensure we have end to end quality from source to product. Partnering with our functions and analytical products to consulting and innovate on data components of products within a function / country / cluster: establishing data as a product, data as an enabler, then data as a service (and maybe eventually data as a business). The position will be a manager - Product & Data SME responsible for build the one data foundation for Polaris - SKU simplification product partnering with engagement teams, business groups and functions, to define and design specifications for the data platform. You will work to masterfully execute and collaborate with senior stakeholders to (i) drive cultural shift around data within the organisation (ii) explore innovation opportunities around new data channels, new data feeds (iii) identify interdependent activities and bias towards front-loading high impact work Key accountabilities: . Participate with Engagement Layer to engaging with business to understand requirements . Understand & document business processes - identify datasets, owners, caclulations required by liaising with product, market & source . Document product & data science model requirements & acceptance criteria to meet user needs (covering data, functional & logical expectations) . Liaise with internal Data COE teams & 3rd parties in data assessments, data pilots and data delivery . Collaborate with Data Scientists to design & test models to meet needs . Work with Factory teams to plan and deliver data ingestions in UDL and BDL . Work with internal source teams like SAP, R&D PLM an external marketing agencies like Nielsen, IRI, Kantar to address data requirements for Products across markets and categories, globally . Work with the Product Managers & Engagement teams to ensure that data foundation demands are captured and delivered to be consumed by the products as per the product go-live roadmap . Assist the business in change impact assessments and development of change management plans in data delivery Experience and qualifications required: Essential . Experience in driving business value realisation from data and business intelligence preferred . Experience working with Supply Chain, R&D PLM, Marketing (Nielsen, Kantar, IRI, etc.) and Finance datasets . Azure experience (ADF, ADB) . Strong track record of working with senior business management to drive definition, alignment, data operating foundations to address complex business questions . Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously in a highly VUCA and ruthless market Desired . Proven capability in managing and developing teams .
