Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with CCTV equipment and related hardware.
Site Surveys:
Assess client security needs to design and plan effective installations.
System Management:
Configure network settings and manage video data storage solutions.
Documentation:
Accurately document installation processes, system configurations, and maintenance activities.
Training:
Provide technical support and training to end-users on how to operate the systems.
Required qualifications and skills
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
Experience:
Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a similar role.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of video surveillance systems, including different camera types (e.g., bullet, dome, PTZ), DVRs/NVRs, and networking.
Problem-Solving:
Excellent ability to troubleshoot and find effective solutions to technical problems.
Physical Ability:
Must be able to stand, bend, and kneel for long periods and work in various environments.
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills and good customer service abilities.
Other Skills:
Knowledge of electrical wiring, ability to read technical manuals and blueprints, and good time management.
