Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, cameras, DVR/NVR units, and related hardware
Run, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5/6, coax, etc.)
Diagnose and repair technical issues with cameras, wiring, and network connections
Configure remote viewing, mobile apps, and system software
Conduct site surveys and assist in designing camera layouts
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service calls, and equipment
Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations and professional service
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Qualifications
Experience in CCTV installation, low-voltage systems, or similar technical field
Familiarity with common CCTV brands and technologies (analog, IP cameras, NVR/DVR systems)
Basic understanding of networking (IP addresses, routers, switches)
Ability to use hand tools, ladders, and testing equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift and carry equipment and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors)
Preferred (Not Required)
Certifications such as low-voltage license, OSHA 10/30, or manufacturer-specific training
Experience with access control, alarm systems, or security networking
