CCTV Technicians play an important role in maintaining a safe and secure school environment. They ensure that the surveillance systems are always working effectively, which is essential for protecting students, staff, and school property. Their responsibilities require technical skills, quick problem-solving, and close attention to detail. By keeping the CCTV systems functional, they help the school monitor activities, prevent incidents, and create a safer learning atmosphere for everyone.

Install, configure, and maintain

analog and IP CCTV

surveillance systems across the premises. Mount and position cameras, run cabling, connect power sources, and

set up DVR/NVR

recording devices for optimal performance. Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely replacement of faulty components (cameras, cables, power supplies, etc.). Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cameras, cabling, and recording equipment. Monitor system performance, ensure proper video coverage, recording quality, and compliance with storage/retention policies. Recommend hardware or software upgrades when required. Maintain

accurate records

of installations, repairs, maintenance, and manage inventory of equipment and spare parts.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a similar role. Strong understanding of video surveillance systems and associated technologies. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
