Hami Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced
CCTV Technician
with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Configuration:
Install, configure, and set up CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related equipment.
Ensure proper placement of cameras for optimal coverage and functionality.
Conduct cable routing, wiring, and connections as per industry standards.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with cameras, recording devices, and network systems.
Repair or replace faulty equipment as needed.
System Integration:
Integrate CCTV systems with other security systems such as access control, alarms, and monitoring software.
Ensure seamless connectivity and functionality across all integrated systems.
Client Support:
Provide technical support and training to clients on the use of CCTV systems.
Address client queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Prepare reports and documentation for clients and internal use.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Adhere to safety protocols while working at client sites.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of
5 years of experience
as a CCTV Technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, including analog, IP, and wireless cameras.
Proficiency in working with DVRs, NVRs, and video management software.
Familiarity with networking concepts and IP configurations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCTV installation, networking, or electronics) are a plus.
