Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and repair closed-circuit television systems and related equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of surveillance systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques, with a commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and test CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, monitors, and cabling. Perform regular maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to video surveillance systems. Monitor and analyze system performance, ensuring proper recording and image quality. Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and repairs. Work with IT and security teams to integrate CCTV with access control and alarm systems. Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, local codes, and company protocols. Provide training to users on basic system operations and maintenance.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred (e.g., in electronics or security systems). Proven experience as a CCTV technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of CCTV hardware, software, wiring, and networking. Familiarity with IP-based systems and remote monitoring technologies. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Willingness to travel to different installation sites (if required). Physical ability to lift equipment and work at heights (e.g., ladders or scaffolding).

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in low-voltage systems or electronic security systems (e.g., CompTIA, NSI, or equivalent). * Experience with additional security systems such as access control or intruder alarms.
