The CCTV Surveillance Staff is responsible for continuously monitoring and reviewing live and recorded CCTV footage across the manufacturing plant and office premises to ensure safety, security, and compliance. The role involves identifying suspicious activity, responding to security incidents promptly, maintaining surveillance systems, and assisting management with investigations and evidence collection.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring & Surveillance:
Monitor live CCTV feeds covering the factory floor, warehouse, gates, parking, and office areas.
Identify and report any unusual, suspicious, or unsafe activities in real time.
Maintain round-the-clock vigilance and adhere to shift schedules.
Ensure cameras are operational and correctly positioned at all times.
2. Incident Response & Reporting:
Immediately alert security or management teams about unauthorized entries, theft, accidents, or safety breaches.
Record and maintain incident logs with accurate details of time, location, and nature of the event.
Assist in reviewing CCTV footage for investigations, audits, or HR inquiries.
3. System Maintenance & Coordination:
Regularly check CCTV systems, recording devices, and storage systems for proper functioning.
Coordinate with IT / technical teams for system troubleshooting, repairs, or upgrades.
Ensure adequate storage and backup of CCTV footage as per company policy.
4. Compliance & Confidentiality:
Follow company security protocols and data privacy guidelines.
Maintain strict confidentiality of footage and sensitive information.
Support compliance audits and security inspections.
5. Safety & Support:
Monitor fire exits, PPE usage, and compliance with safety norms through cameras.
Report immediately in case of accidents, fire hazards, or emergency situations.
Support the administration and security team in day-to-day operations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Good observation and attention-to-detail.
Basic understanding of CCTV systems, NVR/DVR operations, and camera networks.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and security protocols.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Physically fit and able to work in shifts.
Educational Qualification:
Minimum: 12th Pass / Diploma in Electronics, IT, or Security Systems (preferred).
Certification in CCTV Operation or Security Systems is an added advantage.
Experience:

of experience in CCTV monitoring or security operations, preferably
