Job Description

Job Purpose:

To monitor, manage, and maintain the CCTV surveillance system across the campus, ensuring safety, security, and proper functioning of all surveillance equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor CCTV footage regularly to detect and prevent suspicious activities. Maintain and operate CCTV equipment, ensuring cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related systems are functional at all times. Coordinate with security staff for real-time reporting of incidents and necessary action. Ensure proper recording, storage, and retrieval of surveillance data as per institutional guidelines. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on surveillance and submit to administration. Assist in investigations by providing relevant footage when required. Conduct periodic checks, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of CCTV systems. Liaise with vendors/technicians for repair, upgrades, or installation of new cameras and systems. Ensure compliance with data security, privacy policies, and legal requirements. Train and guide supporting staff (if any) in CCTV operations and monitoring procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate / Diploma holder in IT, Electronics, or related field (preferred). Prior experience in CCTV monitoring, security system management, or related roles. Technical knowledge of CCTV hardware, networking, DVR/NVR systems, and software. Strong observation, attention to detail, and analytical skills. Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations. Good communication and reporting skills. Integrity, confidentiality, and sense of responsibility.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
