Field Installation Engineer (CCTV, Biometric, ELV & Networking)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive

Field Installation Engineer

to join our technical team. In this role, you will be the face of our company at various corporate sites, responsible for the end-to-end installation, configuration, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems and networking infrastructure.

The ideal candidate is a technical problem-solver who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and can ensure high-quality installations that meet corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning:

On-site installation of CCTV (IP and Analog), Biometric Access Control systems, and ELV components.

Networking Infrastructure:

Designing and laying out network cabling (Cat6, Fiber Optic), crimping, punching, and installing Racks/Patch Panels.

System Configuration:

Configuring DVRs, NVRs, IP Cameras, and Biometric software. Setting up basic networking equipment including routers, switches, and Access Points.

Site Surveys:

Conducting pre-installation site visits to determine material requirements and optimal equipment placement.

Troubleshooting:

Identifying and resolving hardware and connectivity issues on-site to ensure minimal downtime for the client.

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate site reports, installation checklists, and network diagrams for all completed projects.
Technical Requirements

ELV Systems:

Proven experience with CCTV brands (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Honeywell) and Biometric systems (e.g.,ESSL, ZKTeco, Matrix, Realtime).

Networking:

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, IP addressing, and WiFi site surveys.

Physical Installation:

Proficiency in conduit piping, trunking, and drilling in a corporate office environment.

Tools:

Skilled in using cable testers, fusion splicers (plus), and power tools.
Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

2-5 years of hands-on experience in ELV and Networking installations.

Communication:

Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with corporate facility managers and IT heads.

Mobility:

Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel daily to various client locations.

Certifications:

CCNA or manufacturer-specific certifications (CCTV/Biometrics) are a significant advantage.
Work Environment

This is a

field-based role

requiring visits to corporate offices and commercial buildings. Occasionally requires working at heights (ladders) or in server rooms. Must be able to work flexible hours if a project requires after-hours installation to avoid disrupting client operations.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹28,079.12 per month
