GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The current opening is within the Financial Analysis (FNPA06) Retail Analysis role in Bangalore which forms part of the CCB F&BM GLOBAL PROG MGMT INDIA , LOB within GF&BM India. Role Name : Real Estate Branch Modelling - Financial Analyst

Team : CBB: Real Estate - Financial Analysis Team Description:

The CBB Finance team in Bengaluru supports the Consumer and Business Banking segment by offering Financial Reporting, Planning, Modelling and Analysis services to various internal customers including Finance and Business Management leads and field finance teams. This position will be part of Real Estate Finance team and would perform proactive analysis on branch performance to provide recommendations on target setting for new branches and help drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports. Also would review financial models for evaluation of funding decisions.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Own the analysis of existing branch performance to provide recommendations on different funding decisions to Open new branches, consolidation of branches, Purchase vs Lease options and Relocation of branches.
  • Designing new reports as per business need and developing processes to automate reports
  • Lead automation and other projects related to streamlining the existing and new processes that help in providing key insights to the CFO and evaluate funding decisions
  • Re-setting commitments for new branches based on historical performance
  • Develop strong business understanding and key metrics that drive the decision making process
  • Maintaining complete databases that can be used for subsequent analysis and set-up processes to maintain accuracy
  • Summarizing the drivers behind branch performance including profitability, break-even, pay-back etc.
  • Continuous focus on improving and maintaining high degree of accuracy
  • Support any standard reports as well as adhoc requests reporting requests
  • Present financial results to leaders in the organization
  • Constant focus on automating manual process
  • Develop strong understanding of the models and key metrics that drive the decision making process
Skills / Competencies Needed/Education Qualifications:

  • Qualified CA/ MBA or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Minimum of 9 years\' experience in Financial Planning or modelling
  • Good communication and strong excel skills.
  • Advance excel skill including VBA
  • Working knowledge of Essbase
  • Positive attitude and demonstrate intellectual curiosity
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations
  • Team oriented, inquisitive, critical thinker who anticipates questions from internal clients and senior management
  • Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment
  • Experience in Tableau would be an added advantage.
