Global Finance & Business Management ("GF&BM") India is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.

GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

About the Team

Role Name : Pricing - Analyst (502)

Team : Home Lending Pricing - India Team

Reports to : Local Lead : Tushar Panchal

The Home Lending (HL) Production Planning & Analysis group supports the HL Chief Financial Officer and the Consumer and Community Bank (CCB) Planning & Analysis organization and Production Business Finance Teams. The group partners with senior Finance leaders and their teams across the HL business and serves as an analytical and reporting resource to help leaders understand and manage all financial aspects of the business.

As a pricing analyst you conduct price optimization analysis for the loans and referencing pricing impact analysis. You provide robust pricing analysis and recommendation to global pricing team and senior management and maintain the strategic pricings foundation/ insights house. You have complete ownership of deliverables from end to end with a mindset of continuous improvement and share recommendations with manager. Excellent ability to understand and interpret reports with current price/ market movements and its impact on margins and superb communication skills are the key to success in this role. This is an individual contributor role and the candidate will be expected to leverage his experience and expertise to work closely with the wider team to add value to the team and business. About the Role

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities :

  • Direct revenue optimization and pricing strategy for Chase originated mortgage loans through the use of fact-based analytics
  • Develop pricing strategies that balance financial performance with customer needs and broader JP Morgan Chase goals and commitments
  • Communicate pricing and revenue related strategy to senior leadership, financial partners & sales teams
  • Routinely collaborate with key business leaders across the organization including Capital Markets, Secondary Marketing, Sales and Fulfillment teams, Risk, Controls & Compliance
  • Manage initiatives related to enhancing pricing precision and elasticity analytics
  • Lead a team & oversee their career growth and development
  • Identify, escalate and mitigate business risks that could impair our ability to do business: e.g. legal, tax, regulatory, capacity issues
  • Business representation in respective internal/external working groups
  • Understanding about US Treasury, Bonds preferred
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • CA/ MBA (Finance) (or similar educational background) with 2+ years of post-qualification relevant experience in banking industry
  • Experience in mortgage banking with experience in mortgage pricing, secondary marketing or capital markets preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
  • Attention to detail with logical thought process
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, frequent communication with senior leadership & diverse function audiences is required
  • Able to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions
  • Able to both define and deliver to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groups
