Global Finance & Business Management ("GF&BM") India is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.

GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

The current opening is within the Card Finance India in Bengaluru which forms part of the CCB Finance and Business Management INDIA LOB within Global Finance and Business Management India.

Role Name: Financial Analysis CARD FINANCE ANALYTICS INDIA Associate

Team: CCB F&BM India - Card Finance

Reports to: India Local Lead

• The team will be responsible for overseeing the marketing spend across all lines of business within CCB Finance which will help drive forward the firm's key roadmap priorities within measurement, reporting/dashboarding, and efficiency. This requires understanding of the firm's multiple retail lines of businesses like Credit Card, Auto, Mortgage, Personal Banking for measuring and tracking marketing spend and developing new reporting capabilities.

About the Role

Primary Responsibilities:

In this position, the associate would be responsible for analytics of marketing spend as well helping drive forward our key roadmap priorities within measurement, reporting/dashboarding, and efficiency. The associate would gain a broad understanding of the firm's businesses, measuring and tracking marketing spend, and developing new reporting capabilities

Responsibilities:

• Help create and standardize a consistent valuation framework for non-acquisition marketing campaigns across CCB
• Support overall cross-CCB and firm wide marketing finance reporting as needed. Improve consistency and transparency of firm wide reporting, working with the LOB teams to achieve the desired future state.
• Support budget process and effectively communicate variance drivers and overall marketing story
• Key driver of dashboard and marketing data automation efforts - laying out business requirements and definition of exactly what we'd like built
• Assist on new business initiative reporting
• Improve business cases for every dollar of marketing spend; assist with analysis of profitable investments across CCB to support investment decision making/planning process
• Present analytics and recommendations clearly and concisely to senior management
• Proactively analyze trends, research issues, and respond to inquiries
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and forecasting
• Ability to support cross functional teams and influence a range of stakeholders

Key Deliverables :

• Draft & deliver marketing data in dashboard or other automation efforts
• Reporting towards non-acquisition marketing campaigns
• Marketing financial firm wide reporting at regular intervals
• Perform analytics on ad-hoc initiatives for senior management for decision making

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or other related majors
• Minimum 3+ years in Finance / Accounting, management consulting or other financial / analytical roles, preferably related to investment decisioning and valuation
• Strong judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, fact based and challenge the status quo
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Alteryx/Tableau experience and exposure towards SAS and SQL
• Strong organizational skills, including good judgment and decision-making abilities
• Proactive/self-starter with ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects with tight timelines, in a dependable, timely, and accurate manner
