Collection Center Vendor manager ( CC VM) Amazon Now, The CC Vendor Manager is responsible for business operations by working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Handling day to day sourcing escalations, driving market benchmarking on sourcing, tracking and reporting of daily fill rates, business reports. Driving continuous improvement in catalog quality and process excellence. Key duties include, daily business operations, resolution of catalog defects, performance monitoring, and implementation of seasonal initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Proactively improving catalog quality and creating automation of manual reports periodically as per requirement. Monitor and analyze performance metrics for Produce business (fill rate, delivery adherence, quality). Drive compliance to established processes and guidelines. Resolve vendor queries and operational issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operations.
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in managing farmer collection centers, with strong knowledge of fruit and vegetable seasonality and availability.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills in price discovery and cost optimization.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with farmers and key stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools to drive cost efficiency and margin improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Applied Science, or a related field.
Key job responsibilities
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics for the Produce business, including 98% fill rate, delivery CPT adherence, and quality ownership until LPC.
Address farmer and vendor queries promptly while resolving operational issues in a timely manner.
Drive farm sourcing expansion by onboarding maximum farmer networks to enhance selection depth based on seasonality and availability.
Achieve entitled margins by executing competitive buying strategies aligned with target pricing.
A day in the life
Allocate demand-based sourcing volumes to respective farmers in line with the buying plan.
Conduct price benchmarking against reference or local village mandis to support daily price negotiations.
Manage inbound produce, ensuring sorting and grading are carried out as per quality standards and QRC manuals.
Issue delivery challans post receipt of sorted and graded fruits and vegetables.
Coordinate dispatches to respective LPCs in adherence to agreed CPT timelines.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
