Key Responsibilities
Assist cardiologists during angiograms, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and other Cath Lab procedures.
Maintain a sterile field and ensure proper preparation of instruments and equipment.
Handle and pass instruments, catheters, wires, and stents during procedures.
Prepare the procedure room and ensure all necessary supplies are available.
Monitor and assist with patient positioning and safety.
Ensure timely sterilization and availability of surgical instruments.
Support the Cath Lab team with pre-procedure and post-procedure activities.
Maintain accurate documentation and assist in inventory management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum
3 years of experience
as a Cath Lab Scrub Technician/Scrub Nurse.
Strong knowledge of Cath Lab instruments and sterile techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure and emergency situations.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Certification/Diploma in relevant discipline (OT Technician, Cath Lab Tech, etc.).
