Cardiac Care Technology / Cath Lab Technology

from a recognized institution.

Experience

Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in a Cath Lab .(freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procedure Assistance:

Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization, angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker and stent implantation, and other interventional procedures. Operate and monitor Cath Lab imaging and recording equipment. Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and safety. Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after the procedure.

2. Equipment Handling & Maintenance:

Ensure all Cath Lab equipment (C-arm, injectors, monitors, defibrillators, etc.) are calibrated and functioning properly. Maintain inventory of consumables, catheters, and other procedure-related supplies. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards.

3. Documentation & Reporting:

Record procedure details, consumable usage, and maintain accurate patient and procedure logs. Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly Cath Lab activity reports. Support billing and coordination with administrative teams.

4. Patient Care & Safety:

Provide pre- and post-procedure support to patients. Ensure emergency equipment and medications are available and ready for use.
Respond quickly and appropriately to any complications during procedures.
