Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cath Lab Technician to assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, support interventional cardiologists, and ensure smooth operation of the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The role involves preparing patients, operating equipment, monitoring patient vitals, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and explain the process. Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement. Operate and maintain cath lab equipment, including imaging systems and monitors. Monitor patient vital signs and clinical condition during procedures. Maintain aseptic and sterile conditions in the cath lab at all times. Handle catheters, guide wires, stents, and other procedural tools safely. Maintain accurate patient records, procedural logs, and documentation. Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of cath lab equipment. Follow hospital protocols, quality standards, and radiation safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Degree in Cath Lab Technology, Cardiology Technology, or allied health field. Certification in Cath Lab procedures preferred. 0-5 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or cardiac care unit. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient care skills.
