Key Responsibilities

Patient Preparation:

Obtain patient medical history, inform them about procedures, and prepare them for the cath lab environment.

Equipment Management:

Sterilize, set up, and maintain cath lab equipment, including cardiac monitors, imaging machines, and catheters.

Procedure Assistance:

Assist the cardiologist by handing instruments, administering medications, and handling specialized fluids.

Patient Monitoring:

Monitor patient vital signs, comfort levels, and observe for adverse reactions or complications throughout the procedure.

Equipment Operation:

Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment used for imaging and monitoring, ensuring proper functioning.

Documentation:

Document patient procedures, including measurements, findings, and medications, and maintain accurate medical records.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth, effective patient care.
