We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Catering Sales Manager to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving catering sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of events.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize catering revenue and meet organizational goals
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored catering solutions
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and appealing menu offerings
Conduct site visits and consultations with potential clients to showcase our venues and services
Prepare detailed event proposals, contracts, and budgets for clients
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction
Manage and motivate the catering sales team, setting performance targets and providing ongoing support
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
Oversee the planning and coordination of all aspects of catering events, from inception to completion
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and organizational standards
Resolve any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally
Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote our catering services
Qualifications
Proven experience in catering sales management or a similar role in the hospitality industry
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Proficiency in catering management software and MS Office suite
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
In-depth knowledge of catering operations, food and beverage trends, and event planning
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
Customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
