The Catering Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing catering operations for events, ensuring high-quality food service, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The role involves managing teams, vendor coordination, budgeting, and maintaining hygiene and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage end-to-end catering operations for events, weddings, corporate functions, and parties
Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements, menu selection, and service expectations
Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and ensure profitability of each event
Manage kitchen, service staff, and supervisors during events
Oversee food quality, presentation, and timely service
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations
Coordinate with vendors for raw materials, rentals, logistics, and manpower
Monitor inventory, control wastage, and optimize food costs
Handle client feedback, resolve issues on-site, and ensure customer satisfaction
Train, groom, and evaluate catering staff performance
Prepare post-event reports including costs, feedback, and improvements
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and client-handling abilities
Good knowledge of food production, service styles, and menu planning
Cost control, budgeting, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple events under pressure
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Catering / Hospitality (preferred)
4-8 years of experience in catering or banquet operations
Prior experience as Catering Manager / Banquet Manager is an advantage

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
