The Catering Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all catering events, ensuring high-quality service, client satisfaction, and profitability. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and manage catering operations for events, banquets, and special functions.
Meet with clients to understand requirements, propose menus, and provide customized catering solutions.
Coordinate with chefs, kitchen staff, and service teams to deliver flawless catering services.
Manage budgets, costs, and ensure profitability of catering operations.
Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards to exceed client expectations.
Supervise and train catering staff to ensure professional service delivery.
Oversee inventory, ordering, and vendor management for catering supplies.
Handle client feedback, resolve complaints, and maintain long-term relationships.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Prepare event reports, financial summaries, and performance reviews.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management / Hotel Management or equivalent.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and catering best practices.
Proficiency in MS Office and event management software (preferred).
