The role requires regular travel by train and close coordination with catering staff, suppliers, and railway authorities to deliver efficient and customer-focused catering services
Key Responsibilities
Organize, lead, and motivate the onboard catering team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Supervise catering services during train journeys, including food preparation, presentation, and service
Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, portion control, and customer service
Ensure strict compliance with food hygiene, safety, and railway regulatory standards
Interact directly with passengers to address feedback, complaints, and service requests
Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and railway authorities to ensure timely supply and quality of food items
Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to meet service expectations and contractual requirements
Handle staffing matters including scheduling, performance management, and issue resolution
Manage and resolve client and operational issues promptly and professionally
Identify opportunities to increase onboard sales and upsell catering products
Drive revenue growth and maximize sales performance

10% sales incentive
based on achieved catering sales
