Job Summary:
We are seeking Catastrophe Risk & Data Experts/Analysts in the Property & Casualty (P&C)
Insurance sector to support the monitoring, analysis, and reporting of Natural Catastrophe
(NatCat) events. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing claims resulting
from natural catastrophe (NatCat) events, including hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and earthquakes.
Your expertise will ensure timely and accurate claim settlements, as well as effective risk assessment
and mitigation strategies for the insurance company and policyholders.
Qualifications:
?Education & Experience:
oBachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field
(or equivalent work experience).
o 4+ years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance (US Market), with a strong
understanding of the insurance lifecycle.
oFamiliarity with natural catastrophe risks and their impact on P&C
insurance coverage.
oKnowledge of underwriting, loss adjusting, and claims procedures within the
insurance industry.
oComfortable with insurance terminology, especially related to property and casualty.
?Skills & Competencies:
oIn-depth knowledge of natural catastrophe (NatCat) risks (hurricanes, floods,
earthquakes, wildfires) and their impact on insurance.
oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to handle sensitive claims
situations and build strong client relationships.
oOrganizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in high-pressure
environments, particularly during large-scale NatCat events.
oProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with claims
management software.
oAbility to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced
setting.
