. This role involves regular field visits to merchant locations to maintain accurate product listings, pricing, and availability.
Key Responsibilities
Visit local kirana stores to onboard and digitize their inventory
Capture high-quality product images and record accurate weights/volumes
Map products to correct categories on the app
Conduct regular field audits to update pricing and stock availability
Review and correct product descriptions, SKUs, and packaging details
Coordinate with store owners to highlight hero and promotional products
Act as a liaison between merchants and the central catalog team
Resolve issues related to barcodes, missing SKUs, and category mismatches
Collect merchant feedback on fast-moving and local-demand products
Requirements & Skills
Bachelor's degree in any field (Marketing, Business, or Logistics preferred)
0-2 years of experience in retail operations, e-commerce, cataloging, or field roles
Comfortable using smartphones, inventory apps, MS Excel, and basic photography
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in the local language (
Kannada / Tulu preferred
)
Willingness to work in the field and travel within the assigned area
