Casualty Medical Officer (CMO)

Experience: Minimum 13 years in Emergency/Casualty/Trauma care
Qualification: MBBS (with valid registration)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate medical care to patients arriving in the emergency department (casualty)
• Perform initial assessment, triage, stabilization, and life-saving interventions
• Coordinate with specialty consultants for admission, surgery, or escalation of care
• Document patient history, clinical findings, and emergency treatments accurately
• Handle medico-legal cases (MLC) and assist in relevant documentation and procedures
• Respond to code blues, trauma alerts, poisoning cases, and accident victims
• Supervise nurses and junior doctors during night or shift duties
• Uphold infection control and emergency room protocols at all times
• Participate in emergency drills, CME programs, and skill-building workshops
