Minimum 2-3 years as a Cashier (Jewellery / Retail industry preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily cash transactions, card payments, UPI, and cheque collections with accuracy.

Issue receipts/bills to customers and maintain proper records of transactions.

Verify sales vouchers, advance receipts, and ensure correct entry in the system.

Maintain and reconcile daily cash balance and prepare end-of-day cash reports.

Coordinate with the sales team for billing-related queries and ensure smooth customer checkout.

Deposit daily cash collections to the bank as per company policy.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure safe handling of cash/jewellery tokens.

Assist in preparing MIS reports and support the accounts department in audits.

Skills & Competencies Required:

Proven work experience as a Cashier (Jewellery or Retail background preferred).

Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.

Knowledge of billing software / POS systems.

Basic accounting knowledge.

Good communication and customer handling skills.

Trustworthy, punctual, and disciplined.

Educational Qualification:

Graduate in Commerce / Accounts background preferred.

Salary Range:

Based on experience and company norms.
