We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier cum Billing Executive at our esteemed jewelry store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent service, and ensuring accurate billing processes. Responsibilities:
- Customer Transactions: Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions, including handling cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Billing: Generate invoices and receipts for customers\' purchases.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting with jewelry selections.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Security: Adhere to security procedures to prevent theft and ensure a safe shopping environment.
- End-of-Day Reconciliation: Balance cash registers at the end of each shift and ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Assist in Visual Merchandising: Support the team in maintaining attractive displays and arranging merchandise as needed.
- Adherence to Policies: Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in cashiering, billing, or customer service roles preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting principles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate billing and transactions.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
