Job Description

A retail cashier's primary responsibility is to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This includes scanning items, handling payments (cash, credit, etc.), issuing receipts, and potentially assisting with returns or exchanges. Cashiers also play a role in maintaining the checkout area and may be asked to help with other tasks like stocking shelves or answering customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

Processing Transactions: Scanning items, calculating totals, accepting payments, and providing change. Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, handling returns and exchanges, and resolving complaints. Maintaining the Checkout Area: Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked. Handling Cash and Inventory: Balancing cash drawers, potentially assisting with inventory management like restocking shelves. Following Procedures: Adhering to company policies regarding payments, returns, and other procedures. Promoting Customer Loyalty: Explaining and processing customer loyalty programs. Communication: Effectively communicating with customers and other team members. .

Requirements

Should be ready to work 12 hours Known Languages - Telugu, Hindi, English Education - Graduate Industry - Retail especially from Furnishings,Furniture sector Experience - 3 yrs min Billing software-FOCUS,ERP,POS
