Job Description

An Automobile Cashier is responsible for processing customer payments within an automotive dealership or service center. This role ensures accurate billing, excellent customer service, and efficient front-desk operations. The cashier often serves as the first and last point of contact for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Process payments for vehicle service, parts purchases, and other dealership transactions Issue receipts, change, and invoices accurately Balance cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions Answer phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department Schedule service appointments or assist with customer check-in, if required Maintain customer records and update information in the system Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, and sales staff Ensure the waiting area and cashier station are clean and organized Handle customer questions, concerns, or complaints professionally Follow dealership policies, safety procedures, and compliance standards

Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience (automotive experience is a plus) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic math and computer proficiency Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly Professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience with dealership management systems (such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) is helpful

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
