Handle customer billing, invoicing, and payments accurately (cash, card, UPI, digital wallets, etc.).
Maintain daily cash registers, reconciliation, and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager.
Ensure timely deposit of cash and maintain all financial records as per audit standards.
Support customers during checkout, ensuring a pleasant and quick billing experience.
Maintain and update POS systems and handle software-related entries for transactions, discounts, and returns.
Coordinate with the sales and inventory teams to ensure smooth store operations.
Follow financial and operational policies, including anti-fraud and safety guidelines.
Assist in daily sales closing, preparing reports, and supporting internal/external audits.
Handle customer queries related to billing or payment professionally.
Requirements:
Minimum Graduate / Diploma in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of experience as a cashier in retail, preferably in jewellery, luxury, or lifestyle brands
Familiar with
POS/Billing software
Proficiency in
MS Excel and accounting basics
