To handle billing operations, receive payments from customers, maintain accurate cash records, and provide excellent customer service at the billing counter.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers politely and assist them at the billing counter.
Generate bills accurately using POS / billing software.
Handle cash, card, UPI & online payments securely.
Issue receipts and maintain a record of all transactions.
Ensure the cash counter is clean and well-organized.
Maintain daily cash reports and submit to accounts/manager.
Coordinate with kitchen & service team for smooth operations.
Handle customer queries politely and professionally.
Resolve billing issues or escalate to manager if required.
Follow company billing SOPs and cash handling procedures.
Support during rush hours and peak business times.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Minimum 12th / Diploma / Any degree.
1-2 years of experience as cashier (preferably in restaurant / retail).
Basic computer knowledge & POS billing experience.
Good communication & customer handling skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills and high attention to accuracy.
Honest, punctual, and responsible in handling cash.
