Job Description

The cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by accurately and efficiently processing sales transactions, handling cash, credit, and debit payments, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The cashier also assists with customer inquiries and supports the overall operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities:



Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as needed Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints politely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized checkout area Count cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy Follow store policies and procedures, including those related to security and safety Assist in restocking shelves, tidying displays, and general store upkeep when needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations

Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus Basic math and computer skills Strong communication and customer service skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?12,000.00 per month
