The ideal candidate should have experience handling POS systems, maintain accuracy in billing, and ensure smooth payment operations while providing polite and efficient service to guests.
Responsibilities:
Handle guest billing accurately through the POS system.
Process cash, card, UPI, and other payments securely.
Issue bills, receipts, and maintain proper transaction records.
Manage daily cash flow and ensure deposits are accurate.
Coordinate with service staff for table bills and settlements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier counter.
Handle refunds, voids, and discounts as per company policy.
Balance cash and generate daily sales reports for submission.
Greet guests courteously during payment and assist with queries.
Follow all accounting, safety, and confidentiality procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Cashier in a restaurant or hotel.
Good computer and POS handling skills.
Basic understanding of cash handling and accounting.
Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
