Key Responsibilities
Handle daily cash collections and payments
Maintain accurate cash book and transaction records
Deposit cash and cheques in the bank as required
Issue receipts and maintain payment registers
Reconcile daily cash and bank balances
Assist in preparing daily/weekly financial reports
Coordinate with the accounts department for billing and ledger updates
Maintain proper filing of cash-related documents
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience as a cashier or in a similar role
Basic knowledge of accounting and finance procedures
Proficiency in MS Excel or basic computer operations
High level of integrity and trustworthiness
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the logistics or transportation sector
Familiarity with Tally or accounting software is a plus
