Job Description

We are looking for a

reliable and experienced Cashier

to join the team, Pune's iconic nightlife and dining destination. If you have prior experience handling cash, POS systems, and billing operations in the hospitality industry, this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities

Billing Operations:

Manage and process all customer bills accurately using POS systems.

Cash & Card Handling:

Receive payments via cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and digital wallets; ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation.

Daily Reports:

Maintain daily cash reports, closing summaries, and ensure deposit accuracy.

Customer Interaction:

Greet guests with a smile during checkout, clarify billing queries, and ensure a smooth payment experience.

Coordination:

Collaborate with floor staff, bar, and kitchen teams for accurate order punching and billing.

Offer & Discount Management:

Apply promotional discounts, membership offers, and other schemes as applicable.

POS Maintenance:

Ensure the billing system is updated and functioning properly at all times.

Audit & Compliance:

Support internal audits and follow all financial handling protocols.

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum

1-2 years

of experience as a cashier in a

restaurant, bar, or hospitality setup

.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in POS software (e.g. Petpooja, POSist, or similar systems).

Numerical Accuracy:

Strong attention to detail with excellent number-crunching skills.

Soft Skills:

Courteous, trustworthy, and able to handle customer interactions professionally.

Time Management:

Punctual and efficient, especially during peak hours and closing time.

Language Skills:

Basic fluency in English and Hindi required.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
