Job Summary:

We are looking for a polite, efficient, and reliable

Billing Staff/Cashier

to handle all customer transactions accurately and provide excellent front-of-house service. This role is crucial for managing the flow of sales, ensuring customers have a positive experience, and accurately managing the daily cash and card flow.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Transaction Management:

Efficiently and accurately process all sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments, and vouchers. Ensure accurate cash handling, provide correct change, and reconcile the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.

2. Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and thank them as they leave, maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor at all times. Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items, prices, and ongoing promotions.

3. Daily Operations and Reporting:

Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter and surrounding display areas. Generate daily sales reports and summary reports from the POS system as required by the management. Report any technical issues with the POS system or payment terminals immediately to the supervisor. Assist with stock checks and organizing merchandise near the counter when requested.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:

Minimum 1 year preferred as a Cashier or in a customer-facing role, preferably within a

cafe, bakery, or retail food environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating

Point of Sale (POS) systems

and handling electronic payment devices.

Communication:

Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.

Availability:

Must be flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per the cafe's operating hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
