Job Summary:
Responsible for handling all cash, credit, and other forms of payments accurately and efficiently in the hotel. They ensure proper billing, maintain cash registers, assist guests with payment-related queries, and support smooth financial transactions in line with hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
:
Greet guests courteously and handle payment transactions efficiently.
Process cash, credit/debit cards, digital payments, and vouchers.
Issue receipts, invoices, and refunds as per hotel policies.
Balance the cash register and reconcile daily transactions.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
Assist in resolving billing issues or discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies and procedures.
Provide information to guests regarding charges, bills, or promotions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashiering counter.
Coordinate with the accounts department for reporting and audits.
Requirements
:
Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role (preferably in hotels/restaurants).
Basic knowledge of accounting and financial transactions.
Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and billing software.
Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in hospitality/accounts preferred.
Work Environment:
Usually stationed at the front desk, restaurant, or outlet counters.
Requires interaction with guests, front office, and accounts team.

15000 to 16000
