Transaction Management:
Operate the cash register, issue receipts, and provide cash refunds for approved returns.
Customer Service:
Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner, answer basic questions, and direct them to the correct department or individual.
Cash Handling:
Maintain and balance the cash drawer daily, ensuring all cash, checks, and credit card transactions are accounted for and reconciled.
Clerical Duties:
Perform general administrative tasks, including filing repair orders and invoices, answering phones, and assisting with other departmental clerical needs.
Problem Resolution:
Handle customer complaints and payment discrepancies diplomatically, referring them to the appropriate personnel for resolution when necessary.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, which may include scanning repair orders and parts tickets daily.
Professionalism:
Maintain a clean and organized work area and a professional appearance.
