The Cashier cum Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day cash and financial transactions at the dealership. The role includes handling customer billing, maintaining daily accounts, ensuring accuracy in receipts and payments, and supporting the finance team in accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily cash and cheque transactions, issue receipts, and maintain cash registers.
Prepare customer invoices, receipts, and maintain proper records in the accounting system.
Assist in maintaining ledgers, journal entries, and petty cash accounts.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly financial reports as required by management.
Handle vendor payments and follow up for outstanding dues.
Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory documentation.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred).
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or any graduate.
0-1 years of experience as a cashier or accountant (automobile industry experience preferred).
