Job Description

We are looking for a

reliable and detail-oriented Mid-Level Cashier

to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in handling cash and card payments, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle cash, credit, and digital transactions using a POS system. Issue receipts, refunds, or change as required. Ensure accurate billing and record-keeping of daily transactions. Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of the shift. Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area. Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent service. Report any discrepancies or suspicious activity to management. Work closely with the accounts team for daily sales reports and reconciliation.

Requirements:

Minimum

2-3 years of experience

as a cashier or in a similar role. Proficiency in handling POS systems and billing software. Basic knowledge of accounting and cash handling procedures. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and customer service skills. Trustworthy, punctual, and well-organized.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in retail, hospitality, or supermarket environments. Familiarity with digital payment platforms (e.g., UPI, card readers, mobile wallets).
