Job Overview
This role will report to Director, Cash Operations.

Finance Services Operations at LSEG strives to be a best-in class Finance support function to the business, with a highly-skilled offshore Cash Operations. As the team increases its coverage to include EMEA, Asia Pacific and North America, the Cash Management Lead role will be key in ensuring that activities performed offshore are efficient, effective, built on robust processes and controls and provide best-in-class support to the rest of Finance and its stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage 4 direct reports in executing their daily tasks and ensuring they are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
  • As and when needed, support the team in their daily activities, whether for daily cash management and cash positioning, management of Intercompany loan and Transfer pricing settlement, payment approvals and other activities and tasks.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the Cash Management team and internal (e.g. Treasury, Finance Operations, AP, AR, TP / tax, Payroll) and external stakeholders (e.g. banking partners) for queries related to Cash Management activities, audit, controls and other adhoc projects as required;
  • Ensure compliance with controls and processes;
  • Ensure compliance with HR processes around team management, including objectives setting and performance reviews.
Essential Skills:
  • Experienced team leader, with the ability to engage and motivate a team;
  • Excellent understanding of Finance processes and controls related to activities performed;
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with other LSEG stakeholders within and outside Finance Operations and based overseas;
  • Experience in leading and delivering process improvement initiatives;
  • Excellent attention to details, ability to multi-task and work under pressure;
  • SAP knowledge desirable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor/Master/MBA degree preferably in finance, accounting, business or equivalent work experience;
  • Min. 5 years work experience in treasury/cash management or banking field preferred.
