The Role

Principal accountabilities:

1. Process transactions - daily recording of incoming cash receipts (3rd party customers and intercompany) into SAP accurately and on time in accordance with KPI and SLA/OLA
2. Liaise with customers, cash collectors, risk analyst, customer service to resolve payment queries (missing payments, advanced payments, proforma payments, credit balances, unallocated cash etc.)
3. Reconciliation of general ledger accounts related to cash allocation tasks.
4. Reconciliation of credit card receivables and reviewing problematic credit card transactions.
5. Ensure queries (including shared email box) received are responded, investigated and resolved accurately and in timely and professional manner.
6. Works closely with other teams (Cash and bank, Collections, Credit Risk, Customer Care) in order to continuously develop and improve quality and efficiency of Cash Allocation function.

7. Follows instructions given by superior

What we expect of you?

Secondary school, preferably finance related education
Preferably 1 year experience in business to business transactional role (accounts payable, credit control, cash collections). Experience working in shared service centre would be highly preferable.Advanced level of Microsoft Office (excel)
English - fluent
SAP knowledge is an advantage (AR & GL modules).
Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
Assertive and diplomatic approach
