The CASA Officer is responsible for acquiring and managing
Current Account and Savings Account (CASA)
relationships, driving deposit growth, enhancing customer engagement, and supporting overall branch business targets in line with Karnataka Bank's policies and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Acquire
Savings Accounts (SA)
and
Current Accounts (CA)
through field sales
Conduct corporate visits, market mapping, and customer meetings
Achieve
monthly CASA volume and value targets
Ensure proper
KYC documentation
and compliance as per bank norms
Activate accounts and ensure initial funding
Maintain daily sales activity reports and MIS
Build long-term customer relationships for retention and upgrades
Cross-sell basic banking products where applicable
Mandatory Skills & Requirements
Experience in
CASA / retail banking sales (Freshers can also apply)
Strong communication and convincing skills
Target-driven mindset with field sales exposure
Knowledge of banking products and KYC processes
Willingness to do extensive field work
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline
Prior experience with banks, NBFCs, or fintechs (Will be an advantage)
Local market knowledge is an advantage
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number of SA/CA accounts acquired
CASA value and average balance
Account activation ratio
Mandatory Requirement:
Must own a two-wheeler and have a valid driving license.
Must be proficient in English Language
