Modular Carpenter -

Role:

Install, repair, and assemble modular kitchen, wardrobe, and furniture units at customer sites.

Responsibilities

Install modular kitchens, wardrobes, lofts, TV units, and storage cabinets Measure, cut, and assemble panels, shutters, hinges, channels, and hardware Read and understand layout drawings, site measurements, and design plans Perform repairs, adjustments, and alignment of doors, drawers, and fittings Ensure proper finishing, edge banding touch-ups, and safe handling of materials Use carpentry tools safely (drill, jigsaw, sander, screwdrivers, etc.) Coordinate with project managers and update progress Maintain site cleanliness, safety, and professional behaviour

Requirements

Experience in modular kitchen/wardrobe installation (1-3 years) Ability to read modular drawings and measurement plans Skilled in cutting, fixing, drilling, leveling, and hardware installation Strong understanding of modern carpentry fittings (hinges, channels, handles, locks) Physically fit and comfortable working at sites Good communication and customer-handling ability
