Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials.
Construct and install furniture, frames, doors, partitions, and shop fittings.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements.
Select, prepare, and finish timber materials for each job.
Operate carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment safely.
Repair damaged wooden structures or furniture.
Ensure high standards of craftsmanship and finishing.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete projects on time.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a carpenter or woodworker.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction methods.
Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools (saw, drill, planer, sander, etc.).
Good understanding of measurements, angles, and blueprints.
Attention to detail and strong finishing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and comfortable working with heavy materials.
