Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

Carpenter

with hands-on experience in

steel container fabrication and modification

. The candidate should be capable of executing interior and structural carpentry work inside steel containers as per drawings and project requirements, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out carpentry works inside

steel containers

, including flooring, partitions, paneling, doors, windows, cupboards, and false ceilings. Read and understand

technical drawings, layouts, and specifications

. Measure, cut, shape, and install wooden, plywood, MDF, laminate, and other materials accurately. Coordinate with fabrication, electrical, and painting teams for integrated container modifications. Ensure proper fixing, alignment, and finishing of carpentry works. Maintain quality standards and ensure work is completed as per timelines. Follow

safety guidelines

and use tools and equipment responsibly. Perform repair, rework, and finishing tasks as required. Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organized.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong experience in

steel container carpentry work

(mandatory). Good knowledge of carpentry tools, machinery, and materials. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Understanding of measurements, levels, and finishing standards. Basic knowledge of safety practices in fabrication/manufacturing environments. Team player with good coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience

ITI (Carpentry) or Diploma

in relevant trade. Minimum

3+ years of experience

, preferably in

steel container fabrication/modular container projects

. Experience in industrial, modular office, portable cabin, or container-based projects will be an added advantage.

Preferred Attributes

Attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to meet deadlines under production schedules. Willingness to work overtime or on-site, if required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
