Carpenter (Practical Instructor & Maintenance)

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to conduct practical classes for students and manage carpentry-related maintenance across the school campus. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience, the ability to teach basic carpentry skills, and ensure timely upkeep of wooden fixtures and furniture.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct practical carpentry classes as per the technical curriculum. Demonstrate carpentry tools, techniques, safety procedures, and hands-on applications. Perform repair and maintenance of wooden furniture, doors, windows, cabinets, and fixtures. Create and assemble wooden structures or models required for school use. Ensure adherence to safety standards during practical sessions and maintenance work. Coordinate with administration for materials, repairs, and maintenance schedules.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

ITI certification in Carpentry

or equivalent vocational training (preferred). 3-4 years of relevant carpentry experience in institutions, workshops, or industry. Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, measurements, joinery, finishing, and safety protocols. Ability to effectively teach and guide students during practical sessions.

Good communication and demonstration skills. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Problem-solving ability and technical precision. Responsible, safety-conscious, and disciplined.

Pay: Up to ?28,000.00 per month
