Job Description

?We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all phases of carpentry, capable of interpreting blueprints, and dedicated to delivering high-quality workmanship while adhering to strict safety standards. This role involves both rough and finish carpentry on various projects.

?Key Responsibilities

?Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. ?Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials, including wood, plywood, drywall, and other construction materials, using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. ?Construct, install, and repair building frameworks and structures, such as walls, floors, doorframes, staircases, and roof systems (Rough Carpentry). ?Install finished elements like doors, windows, cabinets, shelving, baseboards, crown molding, and hardware (Finish Carpentry). ?Erect, level, and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, and temporary structures as needed. ?Inspect and replace damaged framework, structures, or fixtures. ?Estimate material and labor costs for projects. ?Collaborate effectively with the construction manager, other tradespeople (e.g., electricians, plumbers), and team members. ?Ensure all work is compliant with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. ?Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, and properly maintain tools and equipment.
?Qualifications and Skills

Required:

?Proven experience as a Carpenter (e.g., [3-5] years experience, or a completed apprenticeship). ?In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction. ?Proficiency in using a variety of electrical and manual tools and equipment (saws, drills, levels, squares, etc.). ?Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. ?Strong mathematical and spatial reasoning skills for measuring and calculating dimensions. ?Excellent manual dexterity, physical strength, and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, bending, climbing). ?Strong commitment to job site safety and adherence to all safety protocols. ?Reliable, detail-oriented, and a good problem-solver. ?Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ?[Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation].

Preferred (Optional):
