Key Responsibilities

Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood and other materials Install frameworks, floors, doors, windows, and trim Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely Inspect and repair existing structures and fixtures Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to complete projects on time and to specification

Requirements

Proven experience as a carpenter or in a related role Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Good understanding of basic math and measurements Physical stamina and strength to handle tools and materials High attention to detail and commitment to quality work Valid driver's license (preferred)
